FAQs

What insurances do you take?

I take Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Oscar, Oxford and United Healthcare through Headway.

How much does a session cost?

If you are using insurance your co-pay will be determined by your insurance company and can sometimes be adjusted after claims are submitted. The private pay rate for a 60-minute session is $125 per session. A sliding scale can be offered upon request.

Effective January 1, 2022, the No Surprises Act, which Congress passed as part of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021, is designed to protect patients from surprise bills for emergency services at out-of-network facilities or for out-of-network providers at in-network facilities, holding them liable only for in-network cost-sharing amounts. The No Surprises Act also enables uninsured patients to receive a good faith estimate of the cost of care.

Do you offer in-person appointments?

I only offer telehealth appointments.

Do you work with couples?

I will work with couples to help them navigate the complexities that healing from trauma can bring into the relationship.

Do you work with kids?

I work with teens, young adults and adults.

What should I expect for my first session?

The first session is the intake so I will gather background information, and we will start to develop a treatment plan. Sessions last about 53 minutes to leave room for homework and scheduling a follow up appointment at the end. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns!
